Aren’t Friday evenings just the best? Well, last Friday was even more awesome; all because Aldo unveiled its holiday season collection! And guess who we spotted busy shopping at the ALDO store in Palladium, Lower Parel. None other than The Lunchbox actress Nimrat Kaur!

The event started with great pomp and show and the first 100 customers got a fabulous ALDO bag with ALDO goodies. What's more, all those who dropped by the store got a 25 per cent discount on their purchases. Rs.500 discount coupons were also handed out, to add to the holiday spirit! And that's not all. ALDO offered a photo opportunity to every guest and framed their pictures immediately.

The champagne and white wine flowed and people enjoyed the canapés and quiches, but it was ALDO’s holiday collection that took everyone’s breath away. Muted colours with sparkly accents, this collection is apt for the party season.

From stilettos to wedges, from bling to muted, the holiday collection from ALDO has it all. The collection is a mixture of high heels, stilettos, wedge heels and platforms, meeting every need of the party girl this season. The footwear consists of muted colours in shades of black and brown, leaving behind the done to death neons. Most of the pairs are encrusted with crystals to add that much-needed sparkle. The Swarovski crystal-studded stilettos and pumps were a big hit with the customers.

Actress Nimrat Kaur looked radiant in a white satin top with crystal-encrusted cuffs and collar and a black skirt, which she complemented with a pair of stilettos from ALDO’s holiday collection. The actress who confessed to being an impulsive shopper loved the collection and said “I think it’s (ALDO’s holiday collection) really understated. The colours are very muted with a lot of Swarovski and crystal embellishment. The party season is coming up and t hey are perfect for it.”

The actress with her sweet smile interacted with people at the store and was an instant hit, just like ALDO's holiday collection!
