The Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that gay sex is a criminal offence, dealing a severe blow to the largely-closeted homosexual community in India. Just when we thought there was some hope, the Supreme Court takes a step back into the dark ages and bans gay sex. There are countries that are opening up to same sex marriages and fighting for human rights, and we here are still stuck in the 19th century with our traditional and outdated rules.
