How to Make a Tasty Dip With Paneer and Curd [Video]

 


A tasty paneer and curd dip

 

As the party season calls for a hostess with the mostest (we are looking at you, pretty lady), there is that one recipe that will kick start your evenings with the right flavours. Dips do the deed with élan by enhancing the taste of nearly every starter. And this particular one has paneer and curd, so it hinges on a low-cal cheese dip. Works every time!

 

Ingredients:


1 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup fresh curds (dahi)
5 tbsp grated carrot
5 tbsp grated radish (mooli)
2 tbsp finely chopped celery
1 dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
salt to taste



For the garnish
1/4 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
2 tsp grated carrot
1/2 tsp chopped celery



For serving
crackers or chips or pita


Method:


1.    Combine the paneer and curds and blend in a mixer to form a smooth paste.
2.    Transfer the paste in a bowl, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
3.    Refrigerate for at least an hour.
4.    Garnish with dry red chilli flakes, carrots and celery.
5.    Serve chilled with crackers/ chips or pita.
