Films based on real-life characters interest us immensely. No wonder biopics are made to whet our curiosity about these people whose real lives were more interesting than made-up stories. Not only Hollywood, but also in Bollywood in some measure, which saw the release of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, based on the life of Milkha Singh this year and films based on the lives of MC Mary Kom and Sampat Devi and her Gulaab Gang, next year.
