Armaan and Sofia had a lot of fights in the Bigg Boss 7 house.
Scandals, drama, fights et al are a part of Bigg Boss 7. But what happened yesterday in the Bigg Boss 7 house was shocking. Inmate Armaan Kohli was arrested and taken out of the house for allegedly assaulting British-Pakistani actress Sofia Hayat.
As you read this article, Armaan Kohli sits in the Lonavala jail and is facing interrogation. He will be appearing in court today and will subsequently undergo a medical examination. Wow, who would have thought one shove and a push followed by some angry words can land your ass in jail?
Sofia Hayat who was evicted from the Bigg Boss 7 house recently, filed a F.I.R. against Armaan Kohli alleging that she was manhandled and treated badly by Armaan. She also said that he used abusive language towards her.
We all remember the fight between Armaan and Sofia; how he pushed her after she broke the rules during a daily task. But if our memory serves us right, didn’t Sofia use abusive words against Armaan too and also try to push him?
The police have revealed that Armaan has been booked under sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) 506 (criminal intimidation) and 354 a (sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code. Phew! Is he ever coming out of the jail?
Police officials obtained the video footage of the fight between Armaan and Sofia and will be using it against the flop actor as evidence.
Do you know Armaan was arrested in the year 2008 too, for beating his then girlfriend Moonmoon Banerjee? Dolly Bindra who was present during the incident reported that Armaan was arrested on Valentine’s Day in Mauritius when he beat his girlfriend black and blue. According to Bindra, he lost his cool and tried to commit suicide by jumping off the building he was staying in.
We can’t help but wonder, if this is just another publicity stunt or if it is for real? Sofia hasn’t been able to make a mark in the industry and this could probably be her way to grab headlines. Publicity stunt or not, we hope Tanishaa isn’t crying her heart out, now that her precious Armaan is not with her.
